Dr. Jen cares for the full range of ages and stages of dogs and cats from new puppies and kittens to geriatrics, all in your home. Preventive medicine provided literally ‘in house’! Most of her patients are quite excited when ‘Auntie Jen’ rolls through the door with her bag of goodies. They have no idea she’s really The Vet and rarely notice they’ve had a physical exam or injections! The practice has an arrangement with another practice to provide surgical procedures and imaging (radiographs and ultrasound).

Dr. Jen is a self professed behaviour nerd and has invested hundreds of hours in behavioural continuing education. She is fascinated by the brain and how the environment affects brain development and maturation. So much of a dog or cat’s brain development occurs *before* they are introduced to their forever family; many animals are at risk of behaviour disorders before they even arrive in their new home. When these individuals are identified, interventions can be implemented to help the animal leave survival mode and instead learn coping skills.
